PURPOSE: A peanut-head type toothbrush having gum protection function is provided to effectively remove plague and to reduce or prevent the impact against the teeth or the gum by damping the applied force during tooth-brushing. CONSTITUTION: The peanut-head type toothbrush having gum protection function includes; a toothbrush head(10) having brush hair(20) planted thereon; and a toothbrush handle(30) as one piece; wherein the toothbrush head(10) has a peanut-shape, and is coupled with a soft elastic solid(12); and wherein the soft elastic solid(12) is extended to a neck(25) along the lateral side of the toothbrush head(10).
