POLYSTYRENE-POLY(PENTYLMETHACRYLATE) BLOCK COPOLYMER WHICH FORMS A NANO-SCALE STRUCTURE UNDER A SPECIFIC TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE RANGE, AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND PRESSURE SENSOR USING THE SAME
PURPOSE: A polystyrene-poly(pentylmethacrylate) block copolymer which forms a nano-scale structure under a specific temperature and pressure range is provided to vary the scattering strength to polarized light, thereby showing changes in physical properties such as modulus and viscosity. Such copolymer can be suitably applied as a temperature or a pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION: The polystyrene-poly(pentylmethacrylate) block copolymer represented by a formula 1, in which x and y represent a volume fraction, 0.15=x=0.85 and x+y=1. The number average molecular weight(M) of the polystyrene-poly(pentylmethacrylate) block copolymer satisfies the following inequality: 938572x2-938572x+27836=number average molecular weight(M)=1036190x2-1036190x+306495, in which x represents a volume fraction of styrene.
