PURPOSE: A hemispherical-shaped protection film designed to be attached to the surface of fruits with an adhesive is provided. It protects fruits such as pears, apples, peaches, grapes or the like from the damage by hail and sunburn and prevents the lowering of their commercial value. CONSTITUTION: The fruit-protecting film consists of a dual layer of paper at the inner part and polyester at the outer part and has a hemisphere shape. The film has a hole for inserting the stem of fruits. Several holes are formed on the surface of the film. The film is attached to the surface of fruits from the upper part with an adhesive.
