PURPOSE: A method of making a beverage by fermenting steamed beans in a loess fermentation chamber and mixing the fermented soybeans powder with fermented milk is provided. The beverage is rich in nutrients and useful as a nutritious food product. CONSTITUTION: Beans are immersed in water at 3 to 15deg.C for 1 to 4 days and steamed at 85 to 110deg.C for 1 to 2hrs. Thereafter, the steamed beans are fermented at 20 to 30deg.C for 4 to 7 days in a fermentation chamber which is manufactured with loess and dried at room temperature for 12 to 24hrs to a moisture content of 5 to 3%, followed by grinding. The fermented soybeans powder is mixed with fermented milk in a ratio of 25 to 75:75 to 25.
