PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for fabricating a clad pipe for plastic optical fiber, a clad pipe fabricated thereby, and a plastic optical fiber fabricated by a clad pipe are provided to enhance the productivity by restraining unevenness on an inner surface of the clad pipe and increasing an extruding speed. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a clad pipe for plastic optical fiber includes a process for cooling an inner surface of the clad pipe(27) in an extruding process by a melting extruding machine before an extruded resin is crystallized at a temperature less than a melting point of the extruded resin. The extruded resin is formed with a fluorine resin. The fluorine resin includes at least polyvinylidene fluoride. In the process for cooling an inner surface of the clad pipe in an extruding process, gas or liquid are injected into the inner surface of the clad pipe.
