PURPOSE: A central control system of air conditioners and an operation method thereof are provided to secure user's convenience in the control by operating the air conditioner according to a control command and an operation schedule input from a central controller or a remote controller and to enable stable power control. CONSTITUTION: A central control system of air conditioners comprises plural air conditioners(100) installed in a room for air conditioning, and a central controller(200) in which a control command for the monitoring and control of the air conditioners is input. The central controller automatically schedules and outputs a control signal resulting from the control command, for the control of the power to be consumed for the operation of the air conditioners. The central control system of air conditioners comprises an IP(Internet Protocol) sharing unit(110) managing an IP given to each air conditioner. The IP sharing unit is connected to the central controller.
