RIVER EMBANKMENT PROTECTION WORK STRUCTURE USING CLOSED HUME PIPE FOR PROTECTING UNDERWATER ECOSYSTEM BY PROVIDING SHELTER OF UNDERWATER CREATURES

PURPOSE: A river embankment protection work structure using a closed hume pipe is provided to protect an underwater ecosystem by forming a fish moving hole for supplying a habitat for underwater creatures on the front side of an ecological block and to maximize the construction efficiency by simplifying the structure. CONSTITUTION: A river embankment protection work structure with a closed hume pipe(410) installed at both sides of the river to protect an embankment is composed of base blocks(300) mounted at both sides of the river and ecological blocks(400) for using the closed hume pipe formed on the upside of the base blocks and piled on each other in order. The regular hexahedral base block has an arch-shaped placing groove(310) formed on the upside and combining grooves(320) arranged at the side surfaces and continuously connected laterally by combining pins(330). The ecological block comprises the closed hume pipe, a combining plug(430), and an internal stiffener(420). The closed hume pipe has circular holes(411) at both sides. A circular plug(422) has a protrusion unit(423) having a combining bolt at one side and combining the rear side of the closed hume pipe to the middle part of a circular rod(421) and the plug is welded and fixed to the embankment side of the closed hume pipe. The internal stiffener welds and fixes plural circular shear reinforcing keys(424) around the outer peripheral surface of the circular rod and the stiffener is installed to the rear side of the hume pipe. The circular combining plug is composed of a protrusion unit(423) formed in the rear side and a combining hole(432) and a fish moving hole(431) arranged in the front side, and fixed to the combining bolt of the internal stiffener by a combining nut(433) to secure an ecology for underwater creatures.
