摘要

PURPOSE: A device for recognizing a fingerprint using current detection and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to offer a fingerprint sensor formed in a matrix form by crossing many different electrodes under an objective surface touched with a recognition object and make a point crossing the electrodes reproduce the recognition object, which is a pixel, as an image. CONSTITUTION: The first electrode layer(4) including the electrodes installed to flow the current is formed on a substrate(2). A half-insulating layer(6) is layered on the first electrode layer. The second electrode layer(8) including the electrodes installed to form the matrix by crossing to the electrode of the first electrode layer is layered on the half-insulating layer. A surface layer(10) is layered on the second electrode layer.
