PURPOSE: A mobile phone, and a program for controlling a broadcast receiving function of a mobile phone are provided to secure a call-available state at least by preventing shortage of battery power while using a television broadcast receiving function. CONSTITUTION: A wireless transmitting and receiving unit(102) wirelessly transmits and receives voice and data. A broadcast receiving unit(104) receives broadcast electromagnetic waves. A power supply unit supplies power to the wireless transmitting and receiving unit(102) and the broadcast receiving unit(104). A plurality of batteries(113a,113b) are installed at the power supply unit. A purpose managing unit(111) manages uses of the plurality of batteries(113a,113b). A power supply managing unit manages power supply related to the wireless transmitting and receiving unit(102) and the broadcast receiving unit(104). A power monitor unit(112) monitors residual battery power. A notification unit(107) notifies the residual battery power while receiving a broadcast. A power supply limiting unit limits power supply to the broadcast receiving unit(104) after receiving the notification.
