PURPOSE: A reinforcement plate attachment apparatus and a reinforcement plate attachment method are provided to uniformly attach a reinforcement plate to a flexible wire board and prevent air bubbles between the reinforcement plate and the flexible wire when attached. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcement plate attachment apparatus comprises a stage(1) having a press contact surface(2); and a tool(3) having a press contact surface(4) opposed to the press contact surface of the stage. A reinforcement plate(6) and a flexible wire board(5) are arranged between the stage and the tool in such a manner that the reinforcement plate and the flexible wire board are parallel to the press contact surfaces of the stage and the tool. Subsequently, the reinforcement plate and the flexible wire board are pressed and compressed. One of the press contact surfaces of the stage and the tool has an elasticity for providing transformation in a predetermined region.
