PURPOSE: Provided is an asphalt mixer which is configured to directly transfer a rotational force of a motor to a hexagonal rotation axis through a decelerator, exhibits a high shear strength because of the hexagonal rotation axis, thus making the mixer highly reliable, extends its useful life span due to a reduced arm resistance, and enables repair and maintenance to be easily performed at low cost by installing an arm protector at an arm that is prone to abrasion. CONSTITUTION: The asphalt mixer comprises: a body(100) which has a predetermined shape and to which asphalt and aggregate are injected; a couple of driving units(200) which are rotatably supported by a bearing(141) of a bearing housing(140) connected to the body(100) when a rotational force of a motor(210) is conveyed directly to a rotation axis(240) by means of a decelerator(220) and a coupling(230); a gate on/off switch(300) having a gate door rotatably installed to selectively discharge an asphalt mixture in a lower portion of the body(100); and peddle arms which are installed in the rotation axis(240) of the driving unit(200) in a lengthwise direction of the rotation axis(240) at predetermined distances as well as in a rotational direction of the rotation axis(240) at predetermined angular intervals.
