PURPOSE: Provided are heat resistant ceramic wares having longtime use, smooth surface and various colors and thermal shock resistance by using sludge generated from water purification facilities. CONSTITUTION: The heat resistant ceramic wares are produced by the following steps of: firing 1ton of water purification sludge at 800-850deg.C for 3-5hrs in a rotary kiln to obtain 8-120kg of ashes; wet-mixing 10-20wt.% of ashes, 10-15wt.% of petalite, 40-60wt.% of kaolin, 20-30wt.% of clay, 5-20wt.% of talc and 2-5wt.% of illite, passing mixtures through a 50mesh sieve, filtering, pressing slips into a cake shape, vacuum-kneading and forming; sintering formed products at 1200-1300deg.C; preparing a glaze frits by dry-mixing 40-50wt.% of petalite, 10-20wt.% of Pb3O4, 10-20wt.% of borax, 5-10wt.% of boric acid, 2-5wt.% of talc, 10-20wt.% of calcium phosphate, melting mixtures at 1300-1350deg.C for 10-15hrs, quenching and wet ball-milling 95kg of prepared frit and 5kg of kaolin for 72hrs or more; applying glazes to sintered products; and sintering glaze-coated products at 1050-1080deg.C.
