WAIST PHYSIOTHERAPY APPARATUS ENABLING A PATIENT LYING ON A BED ALL DAY LONG TO MOVE HIS/HER WAIST IN ALL DIRECTIONS

PURPOSE: A waist physiotherapy apparatus is provided to enable a patient lying on a bed all day long to move his/her waist in all directions, resulting in smooth relaxation and muscle massage effects. CONSTITUTION: The waist physiotherapy apparatus comprises a base(10) installed in a bed, a first drive unit(20), a leftward/rightward rotating unit(30), and a second drive unit(40). The first drive unit has a first drive motor(21) installed at one side of the base, a rotating disk(22) cooperating with the first drive motor, and an eccentrically installed guide tube(23) lateral to the rotating disk. The rotating unit has a support post(31), a rotating plate(32) installed to the support post to rotate leftward or rightward, a guide rod(32c) corresponding to the guide tube, a motor, gears, and a support rod(35) slidably respectively coupled to guide tubes(34). The second drive unit has an operating body(41) rotatably installed at an end of the support rod so as to vertically move according to rotation of the rotating plate, a second drive motor(44), a rotating plate(44b), a slide rod(45), a slide plate(46), and a protrusion(47).
