APPARATUS FOR REMOVING METAL IMPURITIES CONTAINED IN MOLDING MATERIAL ENABLING SUPER-PRECISION PLASTIC MOULDED ARTICLES

PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing metal impurities contained in a molding material is provided to prepare a high-purity injection molding material, enabling super-precision plastic moulded articles. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for melting and extruding used resin into bar shaped chips, a hopper(2) is installed at an upper portion of a tank(1) and is used to remove metal slag and the like. Through opposite lateral plates(3,3a) of the hopper are penetrated first to fourth slide bars(4,4a,4b,4c) spaced apart from one another by a regular distance. The second and fourth slide bars, respectively located below the first and third slide bars, are alternately arranged therewith. At an inner bottom plane of the tank is installed an inclined screen(6), so that coin-shaped magnets are attached to the screen. At a lower end of the hopper is installed a filtering net(7) having holes(7a), which are adapted to pass a predetermined size of chips.
