METHOD FOR AN IMAGE COLOR RING SERVICE IN A SYNCHRONOUS MODE MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, CONCERNED WITH NOTIFYING A FIGURE OF A CALLED PERSON TO A CALLING PERSON IN ADVANCE

PURPOSE: A method for an image color ring service in a synchronous mode mobile communication system is provided to transmit a still image or moving picture image preliminarily set by a called person to a calling person, thereby notifying a figure of the called person to the calling person in advance. CONSTITUTION: A called person preliminarily sets up an image to be transmitted to a calling mobile communication terminal in the case of call alerting. If the calling mobile communication terminal alerts a call, a calling MSC(Mobile Switching Center) recognizes that the called person is a subscriber for an image color ring service(201,202,203,204). The calling MSC assigns voice and data simultaneous transmission channel between the calling mobile communication terminal and a synchronous mode network(205,206,207,208). The synchronous mode network transmits the set image to the calling mobile communication terminal through the voice and data simultaneous transmission channel(209,210,211,212,213).
