MULTILAYER STRUCTURE BASED ON POLYAMIDES AND GRAFT COPOLYMERS HAVING POLYAMIDE BLOCKS COMPRISING POLYAMIDE LAYER, TIE LAYER AND GRAFT COPOLYMERS HAVING POLYAMIDE BLOCKS IN ORDER
MULTILAYER STRUCTURE BASED ON POLYAMIDES AND GRAFT COPOLYMERS HAVING POLYAMIDE BLOCKS COMPRISING POLYAMIDE LAYER, TIE LAYER AND GRAFT COPOLYMERS HAVING POLYAMIDE BLOCKS IN ORDER
PURPOSE: Provided is a multilayer structure based on polyamides and graft copolymers having polyamide blocks and useful to form tank, container, bottle, multilayer film and tube, especially tube for cooling of internal combustion engine of automobile. CONSTITUTION: The multilayer structure comprises (a) the first layer formed from the blend of polyamide/polyolefin having polyamide or other polyamide matrix; (b) optionally, a tie layer; and (c) the second layer based on graft copolymers having polyamide blocks formed from polyolefin skeleton and from at least one polyamide grafts. The layers (a), (b), and (c) are continued in this order and bonded to each other at each contact area. The grafts are attached to the skeleton by unsaturated monomer residues having functional groups capable of reacting with polyamide having amine end groups. The unsaturated monomer residues are attached to the skeleton by grafting or copolymerization via double bonds.
