摘要

PURPOSE: A device for finely adjusting force of fire of an automated gas burner and a control method thereof are provided to regulate flames accurately for cooking variously by using a proportional control valve according to heating power increase/decrease step pulse. CONSTITUTION: A heating power adjusting device of a gas burner comprises ignition and heating power adjusting switches(10) placed on a front panel of the gas burner to generate ignition, heating power increase and decrease signals; a proportional control valve(12) regulating gas flow to the gas burner in proportion to input step pulse; a zero detecting unit(14) installed in the proportional control valve to output the initial position detecting signal by detecting the initial position of the proportional control valve; an ignition control detecting unit(16) burning gas from the gar burner corresponding to the input of the ignition signal, and outputting the ignition detecting signal by detecting flames; and a control unit(18) applying the predetermined step pulse corresponding to selection of the ignition switch, igniting the gas burner with the predetermined force of fire by outputting the ignition control signal to the ignition control detecting unit, and reducing the force of fire finely by outputting the heating power decrease step pulse to the proportional control valve corresponding to selection of the heating power decrease switch.
