PURPOSE: A privacy unit of a voice communication terminal and a privacy method using the same are provided to prevent leakage of personal information against wiretapping. CONSTITUTION: A voice signal is received through a voice signal input unit(501). A modulated signal is received through a modulated signal input unit(502). The frequency of the voice signal is divided into a low sound and high sound frequency by a voice frequency distributer(503). The frequency of the modulated voice signal is divided into a low sound and a high sound frequency through a modulated frequency distributer(504). The low sound frequency of the divided voice signal is modulated through a low sound frequency modulator and the high sound frequency is modulated through a high sound frequency modulator(505). The modulated signals that have been modulated in the low and high sound frequency modulators are combined through a modulated frequency combiner(507) and the modulated signal that has been combined in the modulated frequency combiner is outputted to a voice signal transmission terminal(509). The low sound frequency of the modulated voice signal is demodulated through a low noise frequency demodulator and the high sound frequency is demodulated through a high sound frequency demodulator(506).
