PURPOSE: A latch assembly structure of a microwave oven is provided to prevent a central shaft from being separated in operating a lower latch, in a door latch system by improving the combining structure. CONSTITUTION: A latch assembly structure of a microwave oven comprises a doorframe having a fastening hole and a fastening end for fastening components of a latch assembly; a latch assembly frame(9) having a combining through hole formed to the side center; an upper latch(1) fixed to an upper side of the latch assembly frame and inserted in the fastening hole formed to the door frame; a lower latch(2) one end of which is fixed to the combining through hole of the latch assembly frame and the other end of which engages with the fastening end of the doorframe; a handle(5) linked with the lower latch at one end and fixed to the combining through hole of the latch assembly; a spring(4) one end of which is fixed to the upper end of the latch assembly frame and the other end of which is connected to one end of the lower latch, to provide elasticity and restoring force to the lower latch; and a combining pin(8) a head part of which faces the doorframe, to function as a working rotating shaft by fastening the handle and the lower latch and to fix the latch assembly frame to the doorframe.
