LEAD RUBBER BEARING PROVIDED WITH PIN FOR IMPROVING HORIZONTAL STIFFNESS AND RESISTANCE AGAINST HORIZONTAL SHEAR STRESS

PURPOSE: A lead rubber bearing provided with a pin is provided to heighten horizontal stiffness and the resistance against horizontal shear stress by inserting a pin to lead rubber, and to reduce the time and cost required by shortening the progress of construction, repair and replacement by decreasing the usage of bolts. CONSTITUTION: The lead rubber bearing provided with a pin comprises the steps of fixing a rubber(11) between a pair of base plates(16), piling up compound rubber(11b) and an inner reinforcing steel plate(13) in the rubber(11) in turn, inserting a lead core(14) into a hollow formed to the center of the rubber(11), and inserting a pin(15) among the upper, lower ends of the lead core(14) and the base plate(16).
