TOOL HAVING TIP MADE OF CEMENTED CARBIDE AND CUTTING O-RING INSERTION GROOVE BY DETACHABLY AND FIRMLY MOUNTING TIP MADE OF CEMENTED CARBIDE TO BOTTOM OF SHANK

PURPOSE: A tool for cutting an O-ring insertion groove is provided to improve cutting efficiency by detachably and firmly mounting a tip made of cemented carbide to the bottom of a shank. CONSTITUTION: A tool(10) for cutting an O-ring insertion groove(41) is composed of a metallic shank(11), guide grooves(12) formed at both sides of the lower part of the shank respectively and smoothly discharging chips while cutting the O-ring insertion groove, a coupling groove(20) formed at the inner wall of the guide groove, and a tip(30) made of cemented carbide and inserted into the coupling groove. The tip is firmly fixed to the coupling groove by a bolt(32a), and protrudes downward from the lower part of the shank. Support protrusions(22) are formed at the rear of the protruding tip, and stably support the rear of the rotated tip. The tip includes a long body(31) having a bolt coupling hole(32) coupled to the bolt. Cutting blades(33a,33b) are symmetrically formed at the upper and lower parts of the long body. The coupling groove formed at the inner wall of the guide groove minimizes the shaking of the coupled tip.
