OPTIC SYSTEM USING VERTICAL PHOTO DETECTOR, IN WHICH OPTICAL BENCH IS USED

PURPOSE: An optic system using a vertical photo detector is provided to change a path of an optical signal by using an optical bench having a first groove and a second groove. CONSTITUTION: An optic system using a vertical photo detector includes a vertical optical detector and an optical bench. The vertical optical detector(110) includes an optical absorbing layer. A first groove having a predetermined tilt angle is formed on an opposite side to the side of the vertical optical detector. A second groove(122) is formed nearly to the first groove. An optical signal is refracted by the first groove. The refracted optical signal is totally reflected by the second groove. The totally reflected optical signal is vertically transmitted onto the optical absorbing layer.
