METHOD FOR ORIGINATING A VOICE CALL OF A ZONE DISCOUNT SERVICE IN A WCDMA UMTS MOBILE PHONE NETWORK, CONCERNED WITH DISCOUNTING TELEPHONE CHARGES

PURPOSE: A method for originating a voice call of a zone discount service in a WCDMA UMTS mobile phone network is provided to inquire of an SCP about an origination position, and to inform a subscriber of a discounted zone, then to display a discounted zone call on a CDR(Call Detail Recording) unit. CONSTITUTION: If a zone discounted subscriber attempts originating a call, an SCP decides whether an originated zone is a discounted zone(S201-S211). If so, the SCP transmits a predetermined message including an IP address for delivering announcements(S212). When receiving the IP address, an MS sets a speech path with an intelligent information supply system by using an ISUP, and prepares to deliver the announcements(S213). An IP selects an announcement of the plural announcements, and delivers the selected announcement(S214,S215). The SCP performs a call procedure, and generates/stores billing data of the corresponding call(S216-S220).
