PURPOSE: A production method of a differential assembly is provided to increase the flexibility about a net-shaped gear design of the differential assembly and to reduce the production costs. CONSTITUTION: A differential assembly comprises a case(70), a tube type base material, many pinion gears(88) and many side gears(82,86). The pinion gears are combined with the case to be rotatable. The side gears are combined with the case to be rotatable. The side gears are geared with the pinion gears respectively. At least one among the pinion gears and the side gears contain the tube type base material. Thereby, the differential assembly are produced with the lost costs and the high efficiency by eliminating a carburizing process.
