INTERPOLATOR FOR INTERPOLATING BAYER PATTERN COLOR SIGNAL USING ADAPTIVE FILTER AND ENHANCING RESOLUTION, DIGITAL IMAGE SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE HAVING THE SAME AND METHOD THEREFOR
PURPOSE: An interpolator for interpolating a Bayer pattern color signal using an adaptive filter and enhancing resolution, a digital image signal processing device having the same and a method therefor are provided to apply an LPF(Low Pass Filter) with a nonlinear characteristic and generate interpolation data similar to real tone data. CONSTITUTION: The first interpolator(321) receives pixel data of a 5x5 window, performs the first interpolation in each central pixel R or B to add horizontal linear LPF filtering and vertical BPF(Band Pass Filter) filtering processed data, vertical linear LPF filtering and horizontal BPF filtering processed data and nonlinear LPF filtering processed data, and outputs interpolation data(G'). The second interpolator(323) receives the pixel data of the 5x5 window, performs the second interpolation in the central pixel R or B to add HPF(High Pass Filter) filtering processed data and the nonlinear LPF filtering processed data, and outputs interpolation data B' or R'. The third interpolator(325) receives the pixel data of the 5x5 window, performs the third interpolation in each central pixel R, B or G to add the vertical BPF filtering processed data and the horizontal BPF filtering processed data, and outputs interpolation data R', B' or G'. The fourth interpolator(327) receives the pixel data of the 5x5 window, performs the fourth interpolation in each central pixel Gr or Gb to add the vertical linear LPF filtering and horizontal BPF filtering processed data and the nonlinear LPF filtering processed data, and outputs interpolation data B' or R'. The fifth interpolator(329) receives the pixel data of the 5x5 window, performs the fifth interpolation in the central pixel Gr or Gb to add the horizontal linear LPF filtering and vertical BPF filtering processed data and the nonlinear LPF filtering processed data, and outputs interpolation data R' or B'.
