PURPOSE: A pedestal for a washing machine is provided to easily fix the washing machine while legs are assembled to the washing machine, to damp vibration transmitted to the outside in operating the washing machine, and to selectively fix the washing machine or a dryer. CONSTITUTION: A pedestal for a washing machine(52) mounted with legs at the lower part to regulate the installation height is composed of a pedestal body(62) for supporting the washing machine at the predetermined height and a plurality of combining members(64) for connecting the pedestal body and one side of the washing machine. The upper end of the combining member is fixed to the side of the washing machine and the lower end is fastened to the pedestal body by a double-sided tape(66a,66b) or a screw. One end of a corner bracket is fixed to the lower edge of the washing machine and bent downward.
