摘要

PURPOSE: A ring back tone service method in an asynchronous mobile communication system is provided to generate various ring back tones by using an intelligent network standard only in a mobile communication system. CONSTITUTION: When a call is originated from an originator terminal(11), an MSC(12) transmits a sense message to an SCP(Service Control Point)(14), and the SCP(14) confirms whether a ring back tone service is registered(201-204). If so, the SCP(14) requests the MSC(12) to separate call legs such that an originating leg and a receiving leg can be included in different call management parts(205,206). The MSC(12) performs a paging and alerting process, and a ring back tone IP(15) transmits a predetermined ring back tone through the originating leg(207-211). When a call response is received, the MSC(12) informs the SCP(14) of the response(212-214). The SCP(14) commands the transmission of the ring back tone to be stopped while requesting the MSC(12) to move the call legs, and establishes a call between the originator terminal(11) and a receiving terminal(16)(215-218).
