PURPOSE: A non-woody fiber covering mat is capable of preventing weeds on agriculture, maintaining a forest tree and floors of vegetations to prevent collapse of soil on hilly districts, reducing evaporation of moisture to prevent desertification and reducing sand storm on a desert. CONSTITUTION: A non-woody fiber covering mat is obtained by the steps of: (a) providing biofiber pulp of a non-woody fiber plant; (b) adding polymer in the biofiber pulp of the non-woody fiber plant; (c) injecting water; (d) mixing the water and the biofiber pulp uniformly to form liquid fiber pulp of the non-woody fiber plant; and then (e) spraying the liquid fiber pulp on a surface to form a liquid covering mat(11).
