PURPOSE: A system and a method for real-time settlement using a settlement terminal and a personal connecting terminal having an IP(Internet Protocol) address are provided to offer a real-time settlement service by using the settlement terminal and a portable personal terminal having the IP address without equipping with a separate device or replacing the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A settlement terminal confronting module(204) transmits a transaction code matched with transaction information received from the settlement terminal. A personal connecting terminal confronting module(206) transmits the transaction information to the personal terminal by receiving the transaction code from the personal terminal. A transaction information processing module(208) generates the transaction code, and processes the transaction information and the transaction code. A user information operating module(210) transmits financial information of a user to the personal terminal by receiving settlement request information from the personal terminal. A settlement executing module(212) executes the settlement matched with a settlement tool selected from the user.
