摘要

PURPOSE: A polymer and its composition for forming an organic electroluminescent(EL) element and an organic electroluminescent element using the same are provided to improve brightness and luminescence stability in continuous operation. The polymer is possible to form a film by a wet method. CONSTITUTION: The polymer useful for constituting an electroluminescent element comprises structural units represented by formulas 1a and 2a in the backbone chain. In the formula 1a, R1 is an alkyl or aromatic group, in which the aromatic group may be substituted or non-substituted; each R2 and R3, which may be different or same, is a substitution group comprised of a monovalent organic group; m is an integer of 0-3; and n is an integer of 0-3. In the formula 2a, R4 is an alkyl group; each R5 and R6, which may be different or same, is a monovalent organic group; p is an integer of 0-3; and q is an integer of 0-3. The polymer composition comprises the polymer and a complex component comprised of an iridium complex.
