PURPOSE: A method for a credit card settlement is provided to offer more profit to a credit card holder by receiving return or offset of a predetermined price according to a purchase price or a service charge from a member shop and receiving a separate point from a credit card company after the credit card holder buys an article or uses a service. CONSTITUTION: The credit card holder requests a settlement request through a member shop terminal by presenting a credit card after buying the article or using the service(S30). A VAN(Value Added Network) company server inquires the settlement to a credit card company server by receiving settlement information received from the member shop terminal(S31). In case of a discount credit card, a predetermined rate for a settlement price is offset and settlement particulars including offset particulars are stored in a settlement particulars database(S34). A settlement approval is informed to the member shop terminal through the VAN company server(S35).
