APPARATUS FOR CONNECTING REFRIGERANT PIPE WITH VARIOUS DIAMETER TO SERVICE VALVE OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for connecting a refrigerant pipe of an air conditioner is provided to easily install refrigerant pipes various in diameter to a service valve. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant pipe transfers a refrigerant between an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. A service valve(62) is connected with the refrigerant pipe for moving the refrigerant into and out of the outdoor unit. A flare nut(64) is joined with the service valve and connects the service valve with the refrigerant pipe by placing an end of the refrigerant pipe inside. If the service valve and the refrigerant pipe are different in diameter, a flare member(66a) is arranged between an inner periphery of the flare nut and an outer periphery of the refrigerant pipe to install the refrigerant pipe different in diameter at the service valve.
