PURPOSE: Alkoxy amines derived from beta-phosphorylation nitroxides are provided to improve easy chemical conversion, which is unlikely occurred in free radical polymerization, thereby being suitably and advantageously used for preparing polymerized or non-polymerized mono- or poly-alkoxy amines. CONSTITUTION: The alkoxy amines are represented by formula 1, wherein A is a hydroxyl radical, a MeO-radical in which Me is an alkali metal such as Li, Na or K, H4(N+)-, Bu4(N+)- or Bu3H(N+)- radical and a chlorine atom; R is a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical; M is a vinyl monomer sequence being capable of free radical polymerization; and n is an integer inclusive of 0.
