HERBAL MEDICINE COMPOSITION OF BEZOAR BOVIS, COPTIDIS RHIZOMA, CURCUMAE LONGAE RADIX, SCUTELLARIAE RADIX AND GARDENIAE FRUCTUS HAVING NEUROPROTECTIVE EFFECT AND PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION CONTAINING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided are a composition of Bezoar bovis, Coptidis rhizoma, Curcumae longae radix, Scutellariae radix and Gardeniae fructus having neuroprotective effects and a pharmaceutical preparation containing the same for prevention and treatment of a stroke. CONSTITUTION: The composition contains 10-50 wt.% of bezoar bovis, 10-50 wt.% of Coptidis rhizoma, 10-50 wt.% of Curcumae longae radix, 10-50 wt.% of Scutellariae radix and Gardeniae fructus. It has neuroprotective effects. The pharmaceutical preparation contains the same and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier for prevention and treatment of a stroke.
