GAS AND LIQUID MIXING DEVICE HAVING CONICAL DIFFUSER MAXIMIZING THE CONTACT BETWEEN LIQUID AND GAS BY COLLIDING LIQUID AND GAS AGAINST A DIFFUSER

PURPOSE: A gas and liquid mixing device by jet loop reaction is provided to maximize the contact between liquid and gas by colliding liquid and gas against a diffuser and inducing dispersion and whirl generation. CONSTITUTION: The device includes a treatment bath(10), a cylindrical guidance tube(20) and a conical diffuser(21). The bath comprises a liquid infusion tube(31) having a gas infusion tube(32) therein and a liquid effusion tube(11). The guidance tube(20) is contained in the treatment bath(10) and has both ends being opened. The diffuser(21) is disposed directly under the gas infusion tube(32) with orienting its sharp point toward the gas infusion tube(32). Liquid and gas are simultaneously injected via the liquid infusion tube(31) and the gas infusion tube(32) respectively, make contacts each other and are mixed together while forming a spiral stream along a wall.
