PURPOSE: A channel control method for supplying multimedia contents in a mobile communication network is provided to enable a multimedia contents supply system to designate a kind of an RTCP(RTP(Real Time Protocol) Control Protocol) channel and a transmission period of an RTCP RR(Receiver Report) packet when transmitting session information, thereby reducing an unnecessary channel. CONSTITUTION: A TCP session is connected between a mobile communication terminal and a multimedia contents supply system(S101). The terminal requests the system to supply session information(S102). The system transmits the session information with a control condition of an RTCP channel(S103). When the terminal transmits a setup request signal to the system(S104), the system transmits a response signal to the terminal(S105). The terminal transmits a reproduction request signal to the system(S106). Multimedia contents are transmitted to the terminal from the system(S107). When the multimedia contents are completely transmitted, the terminal requests the system to cancel the session(S108). The system completes the session(S110).
