PROCESS FOR PREPARING BIO-REFINED OIL USING WASTE VEGETABLE EDIBLE OIL AND REFINED FUEL OIL

PURPOSE: A process for preparing bio-refined oil using waste vegetable edible oil and refined fuel oil is provided to increase combustion efficiency and prevent environmental pollution by mixing waste edible oil with refined fuel oil and distilling the mixed oil at a reduced pressure, thereby preventing pyrolysis and oxidation and removing impurities. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises a step of passing waste vegetable edible oil through a filter formed of quartz wool at 40 deg.C or more, and distilling the filtered waste vegetable edible oil at reduced pressure, thereby refining the filtered waste vegetable edible oil so that content of free fatty acids is maintained to an acid value of 10 mg KOH/g or less; a step of obtaining refined fuel oil by collecting waste oil such as automobile engine oil, machine lubricant and insulating oil, thickening and dehydrating the collected waste oil so that water is removed from the waste oil, filtering the dehydrated waste oil so that impurities are removed from the waste oil, passing the impurity removed waste oil through a thin film distiller so that residues that are dregs having high boiling point are removed from the waste oil, and distilling the residue removed waste oil at reduced pressure; and a step of mixing the waste edible oil with the refined fuel oil, and distilling the mixture at reduced pressure using proper amounts of catalysts such as sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, ammonia and citric acid correspondingly to the acid value.
