DISCOUNT SYSTEM USING SMART CARD WHICH CHANGES DISCOUNT RATE ACCORDING USAGE OR ACCUMULATED SETTLEMENT PRICE

PURPOSE: A discount system using a smart card is provided to offer a client with a discriminated discount service conveniently by accumulating settlement prices to the smart card equipped with discount storage information, and changing the accumulated discount information depending on an accumulated discount policy and the accumulated settlement prices. CONSTITUTION: The smart card is equipped with the discount storage information(100) that the discount information is changed by card use results and/or the accumulated settlement prices, and is equipped with an accumulated discount module(110) storing/changing the card use result and/or the accumulated settlement prices to the discount storage information. A card terminal applies the discount policy matched with the changed discount storage information by linking with the accumulated discount module in the smart card. The smart card includes an ICC(Integrated Circuit Chip) installed to a wireless terminal in a form of a dual slot, a dual chip, and/or one chip.
