METHOD FOR PREPARING POLYMER-LAYERED ORGANIC COMPOUND NANOCOMPOSITE WITH EFFECTS ON EASY CONTROL OF DISTANCE BETWEEN LAYERS IN MORE ECONOMIC WAY COMPARED TO THE CONVENTIONAL METHODS
METHOD FOR PREPARING POLYMER-LAYERED ORGANIC COMPOUND NANOCOMPOSITE WITH EFFECTS ON EASY CONTROL OF DISTANCE BETWEEN LAYERS IN MORE ECONOMIC WAY COMPARED TO THE CONVENTIONAL METHODS
PURPOSE: A method for preparing a polymer-layered organic compound nanocomposite is provided to improve the production yield of crystalline silicate while reducing the production cost, and to control the interlayer distance in more economic and easier way, thereby expanding the interlayer distance and improving physical properties. Further, since the method uses only non-toxic organic solvent which is recycled in the method, pollutants are not generated, thereby being environmentally friendly. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing a polymer-layered organic compound nanocomposite comprises: (1) preparing silica slurry by neutralizing sodium metasilicate(Na2SiO3) or fluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6) as silica sources while maintaining the conditions of a temperature of 20-80deg.C and a pH value of 6-12; (2) adding alkali to the prepared silica slurry so as to make the ratio of silica to alkali to the range of 1-25 to 1, the ratio of water to alkali to the range of 50-500 to 1, and carrying out a hydrothermal reaction of the mixture at 100-200deg.C for 1-200hours to prepare layered inorganic compounds of magadiite or kenyaite; (3) acidifying the layered inorganic compounds to form silanol groups between the layers, dispersing it to an organic solvent where a compound being possible to form a hydrogen bond with the silanol group is dissolved, and drying the resulted product by evaporation to obtain a layered organic compound; and (4) inserting a functional polymer between the layers of the layered organic compound.
