SMALL SIZED SET-TOP-BOX WITH REDUCED MANUFACTURING COST

PURPOSE: A set-top-box is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost of the set-top-box and produce a small-size set-top-box. CONSTITUTION: A set-top-box(100) includes a digital tuner(110) and a modulator(120). The digital tuner demodulates an RF signal received through an antenna into a digital broadcasting signal. When the digital broadcasting signal is converted into video and audio signals, the modulator converts the video and audio signals into RF signals. The digital tuner includes an antenna input jack(111) and an output jack(113) on a PCB(printed circuit board). The modulator is mounted on the PCB and electrically connected to the input jack and output jack of the digital tuner such that the modulator converts the video and audio signals input thereto into RF signals, inputs the RF signals to the input jack and outputs the RF signals through the output jack.
