PURPOSE: A driving method of a liquid crystal display and a liquid crystal display using the same are provided to prevent operation error by controlling the driving of a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display(700) includes a liquid crystal panel(400), a number of light sensing parts(LSP), a processing part(500) and a driving part(600). The liquid crystal display panel realizes a display screen to display images, and receives lights provided by a user through the display screen. The light sensing parts are embedded in the liquid crystal panel, and sense the light incident through the display screen.
