PURPOSE: A device for generating an extraordinary sound using a percussion instrument is provided to produce various drum sounds to create extraordinary and pleasant sounds. CONSTITUTION: A device for generating an extraordinary sound includes a percussion instrument(120), a sensor(140), a device main body(160), and a speaker(180). The sensor senses a vibrating sound generated from the percussion instrument. The device main body includes a memory chip in which individual extraordinary sounds or mixed extraordinary sounds are stored as audio files. The memory chip is selectively connected to the sensor. When the sensor senses a signal, the main body controls a sound stored in a selected audio file to be output. The speaker is connected to the device main body to output a selected extraordinary sound.
