PURPOSE: Provided is a chest-type kimchi refrigerator which reduces the distance of transport for receiving or drawing out a food or a container and thus allows a consumer to take foods or containers in and out a storage chamber easily. CONSTITUTION: The chest-type kimchi refrigerator is characterized by containing a main body of which upper part is opened and which has a storage space and a taking in and out part which is formed at the upper part of the front of the main body, and downwardly recessed, and a door which is rotatively fixed to the one side of the main body to open and shut the storage space and has a sealing part which is correspond to the taking in and out part of the main body.
