MULTIPURPOSE HEALTH CHAIR ENABLING THE USER TO CONVENIENTLY PERFORM EXERCISE HIS/HER LEG, ARMS AND SHOULDERS IN THE SITTING POSTURE ON THE CHAIR

PURPOSE: A multipurpose health chair is provided to allow the user to conveniently perform exercise his/her leg, arms and shoulders in the sitting posture on the chair, which is usually used as an ordinary chair. CONSTITUTION: In the health chair(1) having a backrest(2), arm-rests(4), a seat(3) and legs, it is additionally provided with a first unit for reinforcing the muscle of the user's arms and shoulders, a second unit(20) for reinforcing the muscle of the user s wrists and arms, a third unit for reinforcing the gripping force of the user's hands, and a fourth unit(40) for reinforcing the muscle of the user's legs. The first unit is elastically installed in the backrest to protrude at handles thereof from the upper portion of the backrest. The second unit has two members elastically installed at the rear side of the respective arm rests and formed at upper end thereof with handle rods, respectively. The third unit has two handles symmetrically installed inward to the respective arm rests. When the user applies a horizontal force to one of the handles, the other handle produces repulsive force by using an elastic member installed therein. The fourth unit has a front foldable member hinged at one end thereof to the bottom of the seat. The other end of the foldable member extends forward from the chair and is installed with a footstool rod.
