PURPOSE: A road frictional coefficient estimating method of a TCS(Traction Control System) is provided to estimate a frictional coefficient of the road by deciding an acceleration intension of a driver, detecting if over a set acceleration value, and a time interval from the set acceleration value to a slip. CONSTITUTION: In a TCS comprising a plurality of sensors detecting motion information of a vehicle and controlling a slip generated in accelerating the vehicle by the motion information of the vehicle output from the sensors, a road frictional coefficient estimating method of the TCS is composed of steps for deciding an acceleration intension of a driver; counting acceleration holding time; deciding a full acceleration intension of the driver; and estimating a frictional coefficient of the road by the time counted to a spin generation time if a spin generated at a fast front wheel exceeds a set speed under the full acceleration condition.
