FLORAL FORM FOR FLOWER ARRANGEMENT USING ZEOLITE, NEPHRITE AND/OR SUCROSE

PURPOSE: A floral form to support the stalk of cut flowers for flower arrangement is provided, to promote the photosynthesis and the growth of flowers and to prevent the corrosion of stalk by using zeolite, nephrite and/or sucrose, thereby enhancing the lifetime of flowers. CONSTITUTION: The floral form is obtained by mixing 90-95 wt% of a phenol-formaldehyde or urea-formaldehyde resin and 5-10 wt% of nephrite and foaming the mixture. Also floral form is obtained by mixing 70-87 wt% of a phenol-formaldehyde or urea-formaldehyde resin, 2-5 wt% of nephrite, 10-20 wt% of zeolite and 1-5 wt% of sucrose, and foaming the mixture. Preferably the zeolite and the nephrite have a particle size of 25-50 micrometers.
