摘要

PURPOSE: A transflective color liquid crystal display and an electronic equipment having the same are provided to realize a liquid crystal display excellent in color development in a transmissive mode as well as a reflective mode, and reduce deviation of color purity. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a reflective layer, a color filter on which different color layers(13R,13G,13B) are arranged corresponding to each sub-pixel area(28R,28G,28B), and a shield layer(14) defining a space between the adjacent sub-pixel area. Each sub-pixel area has a reflective area(L) at which the reflective layer is formed, and a transmissive area(T) at which the reflective layer is not formed. In the reflective area, a coloring area(C) at which the color layer of the color filter exists is formed, and a non-coloring area(H) at which the color layer does not exist is formed. The coloring area and the non-coloring area are formed to be overlapped with an edge of the shield layer along with long-side direction of the sub-pixel area.
