COMPOSITION OF SUPPORTING MATERIAL FOR DIELECTRIC RESONATOR(DR) FILTER COMPRISING LOW LOSS DIELECTRIC SUBSTANCE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided is a composition of a supporting material for a dielectric resonator(DR) filter, which uses inexpensive starting materials and additives to reduce the production cost and shows improved dielectric characteristics. CONSTITUTION: The composition is useful in a supporting component such as a supporter for supporting a DR filter comprising a low loss dielectric substance, particularly used in a filter for a base station. The supporting component is obtained by mixing alumina commercially available from Sumitomo Corp. in Japan as a trade name of AES-11C(99.8%) or AKP-50(99.99%) with additives including MgO, TiO2 and WO3, in the amount of 0.02 wt%, 0.05 wt%, 0.1 wt% or 0.15 wt%, and then firing the composition.
