METHOD FOR DISPLAYING MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS REPRODUCTION TIME OF A MOBILE TERMINAL, CONCERNED WITH REDUCING TIME TAKEN FOR OBTAINING TOTAL REPRODUCTION TIME INFORMATION OF MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for displaying multimedia contents reproduction time of a mobile terminal is provided to quicken a reproduction time display operation by reducing time taken for obtaining total reproduction time information of multimedia contents. CONSTITUTION: A file search unit designates a file handle of multimedia contents(S21) and determines whether there is a reproduction time list(S22). If a reproduction time list does not exist, the file search unit parses a file header of each multimedia contents to obtain total reproduction time information and stores it in the reproduction time list(S23-S27). If the reproduction time list exists, the file search unit determines whether there is total reproduction time information of the multimedia contents that has been designated as the file handle(S28). If the total reproduction time information exists, the file search unit obtains it, moves the file handle to the next file hand, and then, checks whether the file handle is null(S29-S31). When all the total reproduction time information on each multimedia contents is obtained, the file search unit displays the total reproduction time information together with a file list(S35).
