MOVING PICTURE TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING METHOD FOR A MULTIMEDIA SERVICE OF A WIRE AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE: A moving picture transmitting and receiving method for a multimedia service of a wire and wireless communication network is provided to omit a middle moving picture using a moving point and a motion line, compress and transmit a moving picture, and reproduce the middle moving picture when receiving the moving picture. CONSTITUTION: The hierarchical sequence of all layers composing an object is determined(602). Layers are successively selected among extracted layers(603). Moving points are extracted from outline pixels of the selected layer(604). Mutually corresponding moving points are searched among moving points extracted from the same layer of current and next frames(605). Motion lines for moving a moving point of the current frame to a matched moving point of the next frame are extracted(606). Moving point information about processed moving points is vectorized and stored(607). Information about the extracted motion lines is vectorized and stored(608). If the layer is initially processed(609), image information of the layer is stored(610). If image information of the processed layer is previously stored, image information of the layer is deleted and a layer vector is generated using the moving vector and the motion line vector(611). If the process of all layers is completed(612), an object vector is generated using the generated layer vector(613).
